Acceptable Technology Use Policy

     Acceptable Use Policy refers to a legal document which is created by school systems to outline student guidelines and behavioral expectations when using technology in the classroom. An Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) may include website and intranet policy, student use of personal electronic device policy, and a cyberbullying prevention policy. For this reason, it is important that teachers are aware and familiar with these expectations.
