What should students do to be safe when using email and the Internet?
While many school districts install firewall hardware or filtering software on students' devices, it is still important that students are properly taught how to self-monitor web content. Without sharing specific cautions with students, they can be put at dangerous online risks. Students should be warned about online predators, inappropriate marketing aimed at children, and theft/ phishing. By preparing students with knowledge on ways to prevent these instances, students will be more equipped to handle online content.
